SPRING Singapore (Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board), formerly known as the Productivity and Standards Board (PSB), is responsible for customer protection (mainly safety requirements) registration scheme (CPS scheme) to ensure the safety of customers in electrical, electronic and gas appliances and products .

The CPS program requires all consumer goods (publicly controlled products) traders and manufacturers to ensure that their products meet specific safety requirements. To date, 39 products have been designated as controlled products.

Products designated as controlled must pass the mandatory electrical safety certification of Singapore Spring and be labeled with a safety mark. Product certification must be certified by an assessment agency (CAB) designated by the safety agency. Once the product has been identified for use, the certificate of conformity will be awarded to the Registered Supplier (RS). Registered vendors can register products with security agencies.

Singapore is a member of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and participates in the IECB CB program.
