ENEC certification

ENEC (European Norms Electrical Certification) is a certification program of CENELEC (European Executive Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization). Data equipment).

The ENEC mark is a universal mark for European safety certification. This mark is used by European manufacturers based on testing based on harmonized European safety standards.

At the 98CCA conference held in Yugoslavia in March 2000, the "ENEC" mark, which was originally only allowed to be used by European manufacturers, was unanimously opened to all manufacturers worldwide.

The initial certification was only for IT (Information) equipment (EN60950), but today the scope of the "ENEC" mark includes:

        ● Information equipment (EN60950)

        ● Transformer (EN60742, EN61558)

        ● Lighting (EN60598) and related documents (EN60920, EN60440)

        ● Electrical switch (EN61058)

Explanation of "European Standard Electrical Approval"-The number appearing to the right of the ENEC logo is a sign identifying different CCA member states (Note: different numbers represent different member states / certification bodies, such as 10 for VDE). There are now 21 member states and 23 certification bodies. The certification body logo can also be added if the manufacturer wishes. ENEC proves to consumers and relevant authorities that the product is certified by a highly trusted third-party certification body. In short, the logo needs to:

        ● Manufacturer's product management must comply with ISO9002, or an equivalent standard

        ● According to the reconciliation inspection procedure, the initial and minimum annual output will be inspected by the certification authority

        ● Selective retests of certified products every other year
