CE Introduction
EC Directive 89/37 / EEC (the product of the previous 89/392 / EEC Directive and the improved Directives 93/44 / EEC and 93/68 / EEC Directives), and after January 1, 1995, All machines in this category must be CE certified. Compliance with this CE certification requirement is the result of joint efforts by both the producer and the agency. If you want to sell products in the European market, then this product must pass CE certification. In short, products without CE marking cannot be sold on the European market. If you want to sell a machine in the EU, your machine must be CE-certified and owned, meet the requirements of all EU members and be recognized by all members (EC = EU)
In this document, an authorized representative stated that the machine was designed and constructed in accordance with all applicable safety standards in the European Union. At the same time, it must be pointed out that these requirements are mainly for the safety of machinery, but these requirements do not necessarily apply to the entire technical system and technology. Safety means being safe for people, being safe for the environment and being safe for property. In EU countries including Germany, safety also means being safe for pets.
These requirements seem to have become a barrier to selling in the EU, but the basic idea behind this phenomenon is simple. Once you have overcome these obstacles, you do not need to make any technical adjustments to sell in any EU member state. EU member states should not ban, restrict, or prevent the product from being put on the market. They should put the product into the machinery sector that meets the requirements of the EU directives for sale.

CE certification policies and regulations.
The significance of CE certification is to make products with CE certification meet the essential requirements of relevant European directives, and confirm that the product has passed the corresponding conformity assessment procedures and / or the manufacturer's declaration of conformity, and truly became a product. Passes allowed to enter the EC market for sale. Relevant directives require that industrial products that have passed CE certification cannot be sold on the market without CE certification. They must first meet the CE certification requirements and be affixed with the CE certification mark before they can enter the EU market. If a product that does not meet the requirements is found on the market, it will be ordered to withdraw from the market, and if it continues to violate the relevant CE certification regulations, it will be restricted or prohibited from entering the EU market or forced to exit the market!
CE certification products are accepted by EU member states or national regulatory authorities responsible for implementing market product safety control, not customers. When a product has been CE marked, the authorities responsible for sales safety supervision in the member states shall assume compliance. The directive mainly requires free circulation in the European Community market.
What aspects does CE certification ensure?
1. Products must not interfere with health, endanger the environment and consumers before they can be circulated on the market.
2. Products legally marketed in an EU country may also be sold in other Member States.
By attaching the CE mark to the product, the manufacturer indicates that the product fully complies with the relevant provisions of the EU directive. The CE mark may also be marked on the packaging or accompanying documents if permitted by regulations. The CE mark is not a test mark, but only indicates that the manufacturer declares that its product complies with all relevant regulations. At present, there are various compliance assessment models for marking compliance with basic requirements. These regulations may involve several units, such as manufacturers, importers and distributors. In addition, in order to demonstrate compliance, certification may have to be performed by an independent body, such as a third-party certification body. Testing and certification agencies must also be formally authorized or certified under the supervision of an accredited agency. Products that do not comply with the relevant directives can cause many problems, so we recommend certification by a third-party certification body.
Passing CE certification, has it proved that the quality of this product is qualified?
The "main requirements" that form the core of the European Directive, the need for the purpose of formulating and implementing the Directive in the European Community Resolution of May 7, 1985 (85 / C136 / 01) "Resolution on New Approaches to Technical Coordination and Standards" "Requirement" has a specific definition, that is, it is limited to basic safety requirements for products that do not endanger the safety of humans, animals, and goods, not general quality requirements. The coordination directive only specifies the main requirements, and the general directive requirements are standard tasks. Products that meet the main requirements of the relevant directives can be affixed with the CE mark, instead of deciding whether to use the CE mark according to the relevant standards for general quality. So the exact meaning is that the CE mark is a safety compliance mark and not a quality compliance mark.
